My mother acquired a free credit report from this company. She was required to after getting her retirement set up. This lousy company indicated that she could cancel and get a refund if it was within the trial period and she did. But what they didn't say was that the trial period was only 7 days. It took that long to get what these clowns were going to send her. Now she it out $30 because of these underhanded scam artists. Currently I am on the phone ( hold) waiting for one of these idiots to answer the phone. I figure they wont simply because I am in the queue for closing out accounts. I intend to give these pathetic excuses a piece of my mind. Avoid these crooks at all costs

Completely agree. Scoresense is a complete and total scam. They make it sounds as though $1 is ALL it will take to see your credit score, neglecting to tell you (or in VERY small print) that you will be charged $30 in less than one week. When you try to cancel, you will be harassed and told too late- you've already been charged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

that would be your own problem if you didnt' read the fine print!!!!!

This company charged me $19.95 for membership I never asked for but I caught it and had my bank stop payment within a week. The phone number they included with the invoice 8006796327 was disconected when I tried to call. The only reason I signed in to check my credit was because I'd never done it before and heard on Clark Howards radio show that it was legit and free. I wonder if he's in on this scam or what the did to get his endorsement?

A running-club friend of mine happens to be one of the most inspiring people I've ever met. He's 82 and has filled the years of his life to the brim with family, friends and community. He didn't run his first marathon until he was in his 70s, but then only because he had already put in the necessary miles ugg scuffette slippers training for an Ironman triathlon! His daughter persuaded him to do the Ironman because she wanted to train with her dad. He's now done several. He's incredibly spry, never too busy to stop and shoot the breeze, and incredibly supportive of the entire club. Recently I asked him what it felt like to finish an Ironman and he replied, "Oh, you know, it's not that bad. In a lot of ways I think the marathon is worse," because he knows I run marathons. When I replied that an Ironman includes a marathon, he just cracked a smile and asked what races I had on the docket. This past year, he qualified for nhl clothing Boston with literally one second to spare, and said it was one of the proudest moments of his life because his great-grandson herve leger outlet was there to witness his big finish.

I worked for scoresense. Wow what a company, you can rest assured they treat their employees the same as their customers so please be nice to us costa ricans when you call, cause they are only paying us a few dollars an hour. The call center is in Costa Rica next to the (SJO) airport. So the next time you are on vacation you can stop by and say hi in person lol If you want your money back all you have to do is say you are going to dispute the charges with your bank because they are a scam, this is a trigger word for them which all agents have to document and you will get your money back. So everyone who got cheated out of their cash call back and say if they don't refund your money you will dispute the charge with your CC or bank and call the company a scam. Problem solved and happy refunds. Remember to be nice to the agent you get, they get paid little of nothing and are yelled at all day from angry customers who got signed up with a membership that is creatively marketed in fine print.

Its so funny that you say inform them that you will go to your bank because they debited $1 out of my account on 7/6/2011 and then $29.95 on 7/17/2011.. I called my back today 7/21/2011 and that is how I was told about the withdrawls that I did not authorize. I filed a complaint with IC3.gov and also emailed my confirmation of complaint to fraud@scoresense.com and informed them within the email my confirmation number with IC3.gov as well as a little note informing them I would lilke the credit reimbursement to go smoothly and I do plan on filing an Affidavit with my local bank branch if I am not credited. The just sent me my confirmation of refund and I should be getting the refund into my account in 3-5 days .. if i do not receive it I WILL sigh an Affidavit!!

Scam! Scam! Scam! Please keep away! They stole my money from the bank account for the "fake membership". When I tried to cancel it, they harassed me! Please KEEP AWAY!!!!

This company is BS!!!!! I called on 29 to cancel this crap and they told me that I was going to get my money back. It's been more than 3 days and yet no money back... So I'm actually on hold to speak to supervisor about the Stupid person that answerted the phone saying that I don't know how to spell my name because she spells her name with one "L"... that was so rude... to treat people like that... These people are going to get sued... anyone that has not received their money back, if your welling to file a class action law suit on them let me know...

Thanks and please stay away from this company.

AVOID SCORE SENSE! I got a two week free trial and I called to cancel on the last day of the trial. They offered one additional month free and I accepted. My credit card got charged for one month's service anyway. I called to complain to get a refund and cancel. They refused to refund the charge saying the request came too late.

I don't understand why all of you are having a problem, the day before they were to charge me 29.99 for my nmembership I called to cancel and the gave it to me for 9.99 a month, and that is all they took out of my account, I wish it could have been as easy for you.

Scoresense must get a kick out of scamming poor innocent consumers that are just scrapping by, in light of the current economic downturn throughout the world. I just got off the phone with my bank to cancel my credit card and reissue another one, due to corporate greed from Scoresense. Just returned from Asia. I'm an independent contractor. Very good at my job. I pray that God gives me the will and strength to resist temptation. If I cannot resist this temptation, I pray God for forgiveness. Because I will re-pack my bags and take a trip. I beg Scoresense to reconsider the way they do business and treat people right. I will be monitoring for changes. I pray you make the right choice....free will has it's price. There are times when people have got to know their limitations.

They offered me this service along with some items I bought from TigerDirect, they said it was only sign up for a trial but little I knew they started charging 29.95 from my credit card from under the table. They obviously engineered how to scam and subtly rip people off to the perfection, avoid the scam like the plague.

This company is a rip off. Especially to senior citizens. Stay away from any contact with them.!!

I found a very easy way for the company to refund your money. Simply send them an email and explain to them that you will report them to Better Business Bureau and that you will post on everything possible about them being a scam. I did and they immediately refunded my money.......

ScoreSense was reporting higher scores than I actually had, raising my expectations of a better score, when I applied for a mortgage i was turned down because after getting my credit report the scores were a lot lower than scoresense was reporting.

Haha...shame on score sense , I gave them a card that was maxed out...they couldn't charge anything else on it.
