Beware of the Scottish Scammer.
Tickets for Liverpool v Cardiff Carling Cup Final Sunday 26th feb. 2012.
I advertised on the website gumtree for tickets for the above game and recieved a reply by phone from
a guy calling himself Jason Briggs.He had a reserved Scottish accent and sounded very convincing. He sold me 4 tickets which he said he was posting to me with me paying half by bank tranfare and when i received them i would then pay him the other half.
I paid him by bank transfare but did not get any tickets and have now realised that i have been scammed/robbed of my money £192.
Beware of anyone with a Scottish accent trying to sell you any football tickets as you may loose your hard earned cash.

Wish I had seen this yesterday! Paid this Guy £360 and got no tickets, number is no longer active. Because it was a bank transfer the banks are powerless too. Reported it to my local police station, who said they may be able to track the money,but wont hold my breath!
Hope he didn't scam too many people, hope he gets what he deserves!!!!

This guy tried same thing with me. Advert for 4 tickets for Sundays Liverpool v Cardiff match. Provided all bank details very convincing , decided to google it as things sounding too good to be true, perhaps they are. Glad I seen this, not only did I save myself from losing a chunk of money but I hope people being sucked in by this guy see this and tell him to get lost. His number as above but doesn't connect, rings from a blocked number and . Stay clear of this Scottish scammer.

Dodgy guy. Steer clear. Tried same thing with me 4 tickets for Liverpool v Cardiff on Sunday. Gave all bank details, luckily decided to google it before I parted with my money. Glad I did. Number for him first work Nd he calls from a blocked number. If things sound too good to Bertie they usually are. Hope no one else for this guy, he is convincing.

Glad we at least saved someone else from being scammed! I though the same yesterday and also googled his name with Equifax, but got no results and assumed it was safe. Bad mistake!

this guy tried same thing with selling tickets and asked for a deposit upfront
thank God I didnt pay and got suspicious when he wouldnt send me an email from equifax
he used a g mail email account , suppose he will just use a different name ?

just got scammed in the same manner been onto the police and also the bank of the account details he gave me not holding any hope to get moeny back but hopefully it will put a stop to the scam!!!

a further update to this matter just been on with the police and they have stated the more reports they get the more likley this is to be stopped and the bank have said the same they will look at it as fraud if it i was reported widely and the police contact them. MUGGED!!
